PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Lemongrass oil has a long history of traditional culinary use in many tropical countries around the world. In aromatherapy, it has been appreciated since the early 1900’s for its many benefits.

PRODUCT FEATURES:
Analgesic, antimicrobial, antiseptic, astringent, deodorant, insecticidal, nervine, rubefacient.
a. For Skin & haircare: Tonifying and astringent properties for blackheads, oily and congested skin to cleanse and tighten pores. Also useful for excessive perspiration.
b. For Personal care: To uplift, energise and invigorate the spirit and clear the mind. Its refreshing and fragrant properties helps clear and deodorise the air. It is also known for its natural insect repellent properties.
RECOMMENDED USAGE:
Diffusion, inhalation, compress, balm, body oils, body care, and bath.
HOW TO USE:
1. INHALATION: Add 1-2 drops onto a tissue or handkerchief and inhale as required
2. STEAM INHALATION: Add 2-4 drops into a bowl of hot water & inhale the steamy vapour as required
3. VAPORISATION: Add 4-8 drops to the water in ultrasonic diffuser or aroma burner.
4. BODY MASSAGE: For every 10ml of carrier oil, add 6-8 drops for adults, 2 drops for children, and 1 drop for babies >6 months.
5. FACE MASSAGE: Add 1-2 drops to 5ml of carrier oil.
6. ROOM SPRAY: 20-30 drops in spray bottle with 100ml water. Shake well before each use.
7. BATH: Add 4 drops for foot spa blend, 8 drops in 1 tbl milk (disperse oil) for bath blend. Pour into water and stir well.
8. COMPRESS: Add 8 drops to 200ml water.
DOs
1. LESS IS BEST. Using more drops will not speed up the desired response.
2. DO dilute essential oils in a carrier oil or lotion base before applying to the skin.
3. DO take care with essential oils that are skin irritants, phototoxic or very powerful. Not all oils are for everyone. Take note if you have allergies.
4. DO store essential oils in dark coloured glass bottles. Keep out of sunlight and tightly capped.
5. DO keep essential oils away from children and pets.
DON’Ts
1. DO NOT apply essential oils directly on the skin.
2. DO NOT take essential oils internally!
3. DO NOT dilute in petroleum based oils such as baby oil as they can act as a barrier and inhibits the essential oils from penetrating the skin.
4. DO NOT massage over wounds, sores, broken bones or inflammated areas.
5. DO NOT stop treatments recommended by your medical professional. Essential oils are not a substitute for medical attention.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Not recommended to apply essential oils directly to the skin or take internally.
May wish to avoid in pregnancy. May be a dermal irritant – check for skin sensitivity. Do not use for prolonged periods of time.
