Psyllium husks are an excellent source of soluble fiber. It contains >8 times of soluble fiber found in oat bran. Psyllium Husk in traditionally used for improving bowel movement and for relieving mild constipation and/or irregularity.

Psyllium husks are pure dietary fiber, composed mostly of hemicellulose. They act as a sponge in the intestinal tract, swelling as they absorb water and waste material in the bowels. It soaks up toxins and harmful residues, flushing them out of the body through stools. Helps bowel movement and acts as a stool softener.

Ingredient: Psyllium Husk. Each 1.5g of powder contains 1.5 g of Plantago Ovata.

Serving Suggestions:

Can be mixed with a glass of water or fruit juice. Sprinkle onto soups, salads and dishes. It is preferable to take before the main meal but it can be added to any meal after cooking has been completed.

Adults: Take 2.5g (one flat tablespoon) with 8oz (250ml) water or any beverages. Maximum single dose 8g and not to exceed 20g per day.

Children: (6 – 12 years): 1.25g (one flat tablespoon) with 8 oz (250ml) of water or any beverages, Maximum single dose 4g and not to exceed 10g per day. Take more fluid when taking psyllium husk for easy bowel movement.

Storage: Store at room temperature 25 – 35 °C. Keep refrigerated once opened.
